BACHELOR OF ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) is a four-year program that provides academic and appropriate training for future elementary school teachers of Grades 1 – 6 through the general education courses, professional education, and specialization courses. The program culminates with an extensive teaching internship in various cooperating schools, both public and private, local and international, under the mentorship of highly experienced professional teachers.

Requirements
Applicants for admission to any of the four (4) degree programs of the College must meet the minimum standards set forth by the Head for Admission and the specific requirements set by the College known as College of Education Qualifying and Aptitude Test (CEDQuAT).

First Year Students
Students admitted in the College of Education must have a general average of 88% in the Senior High School report card.
The student-applicant must obtain an average evaluation of 83% and above from both the results of RSUAT (40%) and Senior High School GWA (60%).
After passing the admission requirements in the college, the student-applicant must also undergo another level of screening process specifically for his/her field of specialization known as CEDQuat. These are as follows:

Aptitude Test – a standardized qualifying examination to be administered by the college that will measure student’s strong aptitude aligned to their chosen area of specialization such as Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science, Physical Education, and Technology & Livelihood. For aspiring BEED first year students, they have to obtain a high aptitude in any of the core subjects.

Oral interview – an oral examination that will test students’ oral communication skill.

BACHELOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Physical education is a seamless teaching profession that designs and delivers learning activities, provides quality instruction, manages the classroom, and models effective learning strategies. As a curricular subject, physical education serves as the foundation for confident, enjoyable, and sustained participation in a wide range of physical activities, aiming to optimize physical health and healthy eating habits. The PE teacher must also draw from the knowledge base of related fields like behavioral sciences and employ interdisciplinary instruction to permeate all aspects of the learners' lives and develop them integrally. The BPEd is a four-year program that aims to equip graduates with the competencies needed to meet the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective needs of learners. The program provides a strong foundation in the subject matter, an understanding of various movement forms and strategies, expert knowledge of pedagogy, reflective practice, and the development of professional relationships and leadership.

BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (BSED) MAJOR IN: ENGLISH, FILIPINO, MATHEMATICS, SCIENCES, VALUES EDUCATION

The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) is an undergraduate teacher education program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach in their chosen area of specialization/major at the secondary level. The BSEd degree program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for secondary education.
